Should you not date someone because the sex is bad?

There is a guy that I really get along with and who I'm attracted to. We have had sex a few times, but all three times, the sex was not great (twice bad, once so-so). Even though I really like the guy, I'm wondering if the bad sex is enough to not date him. What do you think? Should you avoid dating someone because the sex is bad?
