Question by The "L" Word: I am being harassed by a registered sex offender?

I warned a friend of mine that a former friend (haven't spoken in 5 years with him) is a registered sex offender. He found out that I told her and he has left 42 harassing and menacing messages on my machine. He pled guilty to assaulting and endangering the welfare of a 14 year old boy in 1996 and as a result was stripped of his U.S. citizenship for lying on his application. I have called police in NY but he lives and is making the calls from New Jersey. Should I file reports with police in both states (as he is breaking harassment laws in both states)? Should I contact prosecutor in both jurisdictions? I have all the calls saved and have reported his calls to my home and mobile telephone companies. He is sick and twisted and I am afraid he will (or send someone on his behalf) to hurt me.

Should I call the media such as FOX News to make my case known to the public? He is a business owner who caters to teenage boys.
I called the police in NY and they are SLOW. I filed charges in the town he works. He has stopped the calls since I filed that report and now is sending his friend to harass me. Should I file a report against his friend also?

This man is trouble, and will continue to cause trouble if he isn't chastised. The fact that he has sent you these unstable threats proves he isnt stable to cater to teenage boys, and that it's obvious he means to harm them again, because he willingly caters to them.

There's a hotter place in hell, for those that did nothing.

Do something.
